Privacy Policy
Web Data Scraper helps you extract data from web pages you view and export it (including to Google Sheets when you choose).
We aim to collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide the product.
1) What we collect
1.1 Google OAuth data
If you connect Google OAuth, we collect:
- Email address from your Google account (scope:
.../auth/userinfo.email).
- OAuth tokens used to access only the Google Drive files you select/use for Google Sheets export (scope:
.../auth/drive.file).
Token storage: Google OAuth tokens are stored locally in your browser (extension storage). We do not store Google OAuth tokens on our servers.
1.2 Subscription and quota/usage data
We store your email address immediately after Google OAuth sign-in to:
- create and maintain your account record,
- track usage (e.g., rows processed, runs, detail-page opens) and enforce free-plan quotas,
- verify subscription status if you purchase a paid plan,
- provide support and prevent abuse (e.g., excessive automated usage).
We also store minimal account metadata needed for quotas and access control (for example: plan type, usage counters, timestamps, and subscription status/IDs from our payment provider).
1.3 Website content you extract
Web Data Scraper processes page content locally in your browser to build tables and exports.
We do not send the content of the pages you scrape to our servers by default.
When you export to Google Sheets, the selected data is sent to Google’s services under your account.
2) How we use your data
- Provide Google Sheets export functionality you request.
- Maintain your account and enforce free-plan quotas and limits.
- Verify subscription status and manage access to paid features.
- Provide support and troubleshoot issues if you contact us.
We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
3) Google OAuth scopes we request
When you connect Google OAuth, Web Data Scraper requests the following scopes:
-
.../auth/userinfo.email — See your primary Google Account email address.
Why we need it: to create your account record, track quotas/usage, and verify subscription status if you purchase a paid plan.
-
.../auth/drive.file — See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app.
Why we need it: to export data only to Google Sheets files you choose/create in Web Data Scraper, including creating sheets/tabs, appending rows,
and updating rows (e.g., upsert by key) when you request it.
Token storage: OAuth tokens are stored locally in your browser. We do not store Google OAuth tokens on our servers.
4) Sharing of data
We may share data only with:
- Google: when you export data to Google Sheets.
- Creem: to process payments, trials (if offered), and manage subscriptions.
- Service providers (if any) strictly to operate our service (e.g., hosting/database), under confidentiality and security obligations.
- Authorities if required by law.
5) Data retention
- OAuth tokens: stored locally until you disconnect Google or remove the extension.
-
Account email + usage/quota records: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward
to handle support, security, and accounting/disputes, unless deletion is legally restricted.
6) Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect stored account and subscription records. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7) Your choices and rights
- Disconnect Google OAuth at any time (via the extension or your Google account settings).
- Request deletion of your account email record (subject to legal/accounting obligations).
- Contact: support@scrapeflow.pro
8) Children
Web Data Scraper is not intended for use by children.
9) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated†date reflects the latest version.
